Recently the Medical Wing of the PAD organised a mental Health Awareness Workshop in collaboration with Pulse Therapy and Learning Centre in its premises to highlight various aspects of mental health and how to identify the signs of disorders.
Men and women both experience depression but their symptoms can be very different. Men are less likely than women to recognise, talk about, and seek treatment, yet depression affects a large number of men.
A team of three women - two from the UAE along with a friend who joined them from Jordan - have become the first women trio to reach Everest Base Camp (EBC) at 5,400 metre above the sea level and then Kala Patthar (5,600 metres). The trio planned the Himalayan trek in such a way that they reach the EBC on the birthday of the UAE founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, dedicating their achievement to the great UAE leader.
As part of the collaborative efforts to raise awareness on Mental Health, Pulse Center had health talk at Pakistan Association Duba on Stress Management on 22 September 2018.
Pulse Therapy and Learning Center signs a services agreement with JSS Private School Jumeira to offer therapy services at school as well as training for SEN staff.
Swiss International Scientific School and Pulse Therapy and Learning Center signed on to provide ABA training to their SEN staff on 10 Oct 2018.
Pulse Center entered an agreement with Esaad Dubai Police to provide discount of 40% to Esaad card holders.
