Our commitment

Pulse Therapy and Learning Center wants every parent, professional, and learner to be able to use this website, whatever technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and test against it before every release.

What you can expect

  • Keyboard. Everything works without a mouse: a “Skip to main content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches, menus open and close with Enter and Escape, and the “How can we help?” tabs respond to the arrow, Home, and End keys.
  • Visible focus. Wherever your keyboard is, a wine-colored ring with a soft ochre halo shows it, on every background.
  • Text. Body text is at least 17 pixels and labels at least 12 pixels; pages reflow for narrow screens (tested at 320 pixels wide) without sideways scrolling; colors meet the contrast minimums, and no information is carried by color alone.
  • Motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, the site shows no animation, parallax, or moving effects at all.
  • Structure. One main heading per page, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content, and footer, and descriptive link text — so screen readers can move around quickly.
  • Without JavaScript. Every page and every tab panel is readable with scripting disabled.
  • Languages. The site is in English and Arabic.
  • Nothing hidden on phones. Small screens get the same content, plus a Call · WhatsApp · Find us bar that never covers what you are looking at.
  • No cookies, no trackers. Nothing on this site follows you.

Accessibility options

The “Accessibility” button at the top of every page opens a panel of options for reading and viewing this site. They complement the assistive technology you already use, such as your screen reader, magnifier, or your browser’s own zoom and text settings; they do not replace it.

  • Profiles. Seven profiles (Dyslexia, Low vision, Seizure-sensitive, ADHD, Cognitive and learning, Color blind, and Motor) each turn on a mix of the options below with one tap. Tapping the same profile again turns its options off, and every option stays adjustable on its own.
  • Text. Four text sizes; text spacing at the values WCAG uses to test it (success criterion 1.4.12); a readable font, Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, on English pages; and text aligned to the start of the line.
  • Color and vision. A choice of theme (match my device, light, or dark), high contrast, highlighted links, low color or gray, hidden images (paintings and photos go; the text stays), and plain colors.
  • Motion and focus. Pause motion, a reading ruler that follows your pointer or your keyboard focus, and a large cursor.
  • Tools. Read aloud reads the page’s main content with a voice built into your device. It uses only such voices, so the page’s text is never sent to an online speech service. Page structure lists the page’s headings and takes you to the one you choose.
  • The panel itself. Larger panel buttons makes the panel’s own controls bigger, and Reset all returns everything to the default.

Your choices are saved on your own device only (in your browser’s local storage), so that they apply on your next visit. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and Reset all removes them. The panel needs JavaScript; without it, the site works as described above, but the options are not offered.

Known limitations

  • Read aloud depends on the voices your device has. If it has no built-in voice for the page’s language, the option is shown as unavailable and says why.
  • The readable font has no Arabic letters, so it is not available on Arabic pages.
  • Screen-reader support has been checked with automated tools; testing with screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver continues.
